RASPISANA GLAVNA SKUPŠTINA EMA-e

EMA GENERAL ASSEMBLY
8th General Assembly on
24th November, 2012 in Zagreb, Croatia

Official language of the Assembly: English (only)
Place: Zagreb, Croatia
Arrival time: 24.11.2012. at 08:00 hours (morning)
Lodging: if delegates needs lodging it can be organized, and please contact EMA office about that. Cost of lodging is on every national association. Price depends on quality (number of start) and position of hotel. The best option is mini hotel »Mali raj«*** for price of 250 kn (33 EUR) in 2/2 room (in same hotel will be GA).
Food: Croatian majorettes' association will pay lunch for 2 delegates per country (if you have more delegates you have to pay for them)
Transportation: If you need transportation to/from airport we will arrange it for you and Croatian majorettes' association will pay for it

Agenda for the meeting:
1. Ratification of the 7th GA Minutes

2. Members status
• changing of Czech representative in EMA
• status of Bulgarian representative in EMA
• new members

3. Place of European majorettes’ championship 2013
• official candidatures must be sent till 1st November 2012 – candidatures that will come after deadline will not be considered

4. Changing of EMA Statue article 18/2 from
“EC is constituted by one authorized representative of each member of EMA”
to: “EC is constituted by 5 members, including President of EMA, from different countries, who are elected by EMA GA members”.
• To organize meeting with 12 representatives is too expensive so there is no respond for possible meeting because of costs. For just 5 members it will be much easier. Even there is possibility for meeting by internet (skype) what can not be done with so many representatives
• Situation in national associations change every few months, and some of national association work very inert, so their representative is one only in paper. We need real people to work in EC, not just to be members of EC on paper.
• if you have any other changes it must be sent till 1st November 2012

5. Changing of EMA Rulebook
• new article 4.3.4: »For mace majorettes’ uniforms mast be very traditional based on military uniforms from 19 century or earlier. Mace uniforms must have hat, jacket/skirt or dress and boots«.
• article 5.7.5. becomes article 5.7.6, article 5.7.6. becomes article 5.7.7. and article 5.7.7. becomes article 5.7.8. New article 5.7.5: »In mace Majorettes’ music must be very traditional based on military marches from 19 century or earlier and plaid just by marching band, brass band, fanfare orchestra, symphonic orchestra or philharmonics. Forbidden music from article 5.7.4. is forbidden for mace majorettes doesn't meter of arrangement.«
• article 5.7.6 is changed to: »Rules from articles 5.7.2, 5.7.3. and 5.7.4. are not obligated for solo and duo, exempt in mace majorettes solo and duo where those articles are obligated.«
• in article 6.2.1. number »100« is changed to »60«, number »4« to »3«, number 360« to »240«
• definition of new category »Free style« (pom-pom with no limits in music, uniforms and acrobatic movements) must be sent till 1st November 2012 in form of articles (not just wishes)
• if you have any other changes it must be sent till 1st November 2012
